7/27: Groups to Challenge Congress to Cut Taxpayer Subsidies to Oil and Gas, Release 'Subsidy Gusher' Report

New Mexico taxpayers shell out millions to Big Oil. Groups to challenge Congress to cut taxpayer subsidies to oil and gas companies -- new report to be released Wednesday totals-up billions in federal giveaways.

What: Taxpayers for Common Sense and the Checks and Balances Project join local New Mexico groups and business owners to call on Congress to end millions in taxpayer subsidies to the oil and gas industry.

Taxpayers for Common Sense will release their New Mexico “Subsidy Gusher” report outlining the true cost of oil industry subsidies and campaign contributions to New Mexico politicians.
