Sign Up With WildEarth Guardians to Restore Waterways in Valles Caldera Preserve

From WildEarth Guardians:
WildEarth Guardians invites you to join us as we continue our 2011 tree planting events. With your help, we will be planting over 100,000 trees this spring to help restore our rivers. The result? You will be making a difference for 100's of species and creating a healthier, more beautiful environment for us all.

Our Stream Team planting days, held throughout Northern New Mexico, are a great way to get involved for the sake of the environment and re-connect to the water and wild rivers that sustain us all. Each event is a reminder of what happens when we come together. At the beginning of the day a somewhat barren landscape lays before us. A few hours later, the area is awash with newly planted native trees.

Join us for any or all of our Valles Caldera National Preserve Tree Planting Days:

When:  April 12th thru 16th, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Where: Valles Caldera: Redondo Creek

When:  May 9th thru 13th, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Where: Valles Caldera: Rito Penas Negras

When:  May 23rd thru 27th, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Where: Valles Caldera: San Antonio Creek

These tree-planting sites are in the amazing Valles Caldera National Preserve. Spend a day with us in this incredible, and often difficult to access, part of New Mexico.

RSVP is a must: Maximum 10 participants per day. A pledge of $10 funds your day of effort. Raise $100.00 for the tree planting from friends and family, fund a grove and receive a free WildEarth Guardians ball cap.

RSVP to Angelisa Espinoza or call 505-988-9126x1151. Wear work clothes. Bring gloves, water, and warm and water-resistant clothing as the weather may be unpredictable. Let us provide you lunch by RSVP’ing today!

We hope to see you there!
