Doña Ana County Democratic Women Elects Officers

The Doña Ana County Democratic Women held its election of officers on Saturday, February 5. Elected to the lead the organization over the next year were Judy Baker, who was elected President, Nancy Blecha, Vice President, Terri McBreyer, Treasurer, and Dr. Ardeth Norem, Secretary. The organization, which is affiliated with the Doña Ana County Democratic Party, is also the local organization affiliated with the National Federation of Democratic Women, an organization which supports Democratic candidates nationally. The group held its meeting at the Good Samaritan 3025 Terrace Drive in Las Cruces.

Judy Baker, who was elected President of the local organization also announced that she was a candidate for Treasurer of the National Federation of Democratic Women. The National organization will meet and elect its officers in Washington, D.C. during its annual conference May 18-May 22.

The Doña Ana County Democratic Women is an open membership organization that meets monthly at various locations throughout the county. Its next meeting will be held on March 5 at a location to be announced.
