Saturday: Join Health Care for American Now and Rep. Heinrich at Health Care Clothesline Project

Clothesline

From Health Care for America Now NM: HCAN's Health Care Clothesline Project has been rescheduled for this Saturday, June 6, from 2:15 to 3:30 PM. Congressman Martin Heinrich will join us as we hang out the health care industry’s dirty laundry in a picturesque Albuquerque event on on Saturday at Pat Hurley Park. (This is the westside park that overlooks Albuquerque. It’s at the juncture of Yucca and Bluewater, 1/2 a mile north of Central, 1/2 a mile east of Coors.)

Several hundred New Mexicans are writing their visions of reform and their health care horror stories on articles of clothing. On the 6th, we'll hang all the clothing and stories along a clothesline in the beautiful Pat Hurley Park, where Rep. Martin Heinrich and others will speak on what needs to happen now to pass reform this year. Click to RSVP or get more information on the project.

Join hundreds of others by writing your health care story on a shirt to be read by Congressman Martin Heinrich. Use your own shirt or visit Guerrilla Graphix (2205 Silver Ave SE) for a free one.
