Fairly bad idea to host an event during the school day at a high school!

This is off subject but New Mexicans are in the KOS discussions tonight.

Also in KOS tonight, McCain wants to steal NM water! Spread the word.

When will Obama announce his VP.

I heard rumors that he was considering John Kerry(according to the drudge report). Is that serious?

OMG! Talk about a PR disaster. 2004 anyone? :(

I really hope he chooses Hillary Clinton since the list of qualified candidates seems to be dwindling big-time.

We need a VP who is a rockstar and someone who can excite the general public. Obviously names such as Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Edwards, and Colin Powell will succeed in that regard.

My fear is he names a insecure unknown who is afraid of the national spotlight. Names such as Bayh, Biden, Sebelius, Kaine, Nunn, Webb, etc.....are doom to fail. First most of America is barly starting to get use to BARACK OBAMA. Barack is a new figure into politics and familiarity with his name and platform is initially starting to get traction. It would be a HUGE mistake to force Americans to "google" his VP pick in order to know who the heck it is. Pepole want familiarity and confidence in their VP pick.

I tried to get a ticket but for some reason it wouldn't go through on the website no matter what I did. Now it says there are no tickets left. Does anyone have an extra two tickets for my partner and I? Does anyone know where we could find one? Thanks.

Anyone that takes anything on the Drudge Report as factual needs to think again. Obama will probably pick his VP this week. I doubt it will be Hillary but you never know. Bill Clinton has been pouty and snotty after losing the race. We don't need that kind of energy. If Hillary is picked we get Bill in the bargain. Too bad.

School has started in NM-so early!

There aren't many places in the Valley to have a big event (or in albq. either).

Good discussion on Kos about New Mexico's Hispanics.
