For the 1st district, it is Sen. Mark Boitano, not Brian Boitano, although that would make for an interesting story.

State Sen. John Ryan (R) is also considering the C.D.1 seat

No word from Jeff Steinborn in NM-3?

I just threw those errors in to see if you were paying attention!

OK, I'll admit it, I was typing too fast and not checking it twice before I posted and went on to other things. Thanks for the heads up on the needed corrections.

I will add Sen. Ryan to the CD-1 maybes, although I haven't heard from anywhere else that he's contemplating a run.

Jeff Steinborn is a state rep. in CD-2 in Las Cruces, not CD-3 up north, but I wouldn't be surprised if he entered the race if Pearce runs for Senate. By all accounts he's doing a good job at the legislature and I think he'd be a strong candidate.
