The Reason

I think we can sometimes lose sight of exactly why so many of us are spending so much time on politics and trying to change the way things are going. After all, it can be tedious, frustrating, depressing. We could be doing other much more pleasurable things. Here's one big, powerful reason to keep on going. Enough is enough. Let me say that again -- enough is enough.

Very sad...

Some friends and co-workers keep telling me I should run for some kind of office... thing is that I have no experience or even a college education, and I'm openly pagan. Maybe it would be worth a try though, just to be able to stand up to the ones screwing this country and its reputation up.

Sorry if I'm seeming a bit weird... my allergies are terrible today... to the point where I was actually close to going to the emergency room. They're never this bad...

Hope you feel better soon. You really should go ahead and run for something some day, if only just for the experience and chance to get heard. Working for campaigns can also be fun, especially if there's a real chance to win, as in the 2008 Congressional race in CD1!

Well, it would certainly be interesting, and I wouldn't mind being in on something like this, especially when I feel that so much has gone wrong in politics... things that seem almost simple to me.

Ah well... if you're interested, here's the link to my profile on that mock-election website... feel free to vote and join in the fun :)
