Getting Busy With Heather Wilson: The Game

The NM-01 congressional contest between Dem challenger Patricia Madrid and Repub incumbent Rep. Heather Wilson is no game. It's a deadly serious race that will help determine whether Dems win back control of the House and its committees, thus restoring at least some semblance of congressional oversite of the Bush regime. However, it's always good to break the tension with some fun -- especially on the day of the big debate between Madrid and Wilson. Go check out the Getting Busy With Heather Wilson game. (Two different unknown persons emailed me the link.)

Wilson stuck my her man last night, repeating all the Rove talking points but I found it strange she wouldn't answer Madrid's question to her about whether she thought Bush was a good president or not. Joles pushed Wilson to answer the question but she still refused. I guess Wilson is fine chanting the Bush talking points and having him come out here to raise a ton of cash for her but unsure on the answer to this question.

People in the audience broke at laughing and groaning about some of Wilson's points. People are finally seeing through her fake mask to what she is really about. She backs every bad program the president has ever proposed. She is all for torture and back room deals with the oil companies.

I don't know. I like Madrid, but she did look very uncomfortable last night and maybe her mind just went blank, but she looked and sounded as though she did not have very articulate answers to the questions and appeared to not know the issues as she stuck to her talking points the very same way Wilson did. Wilson appeared to win the debate, but I don't think it will give her the bounce needed to win the election.

Yeah, Madrid was nervous, but so was Wilson. Madrid did hem and haw a bit but at least she didn't have a shaky voice and strange facial expressions like Wilson.

My vote will go to Madrid because she would represent MY views on the war, Medicare, the Bush agenda and ordinary working people. This isn't about who has the most poised star power it's about who will represent the people. Madrid is the one for me.
