Al Gore in England: Read All About It

Kathy Flake, a seasoned veteran of the Dean and Miles Nelson campaigns in Albuquerque, is currently living outside London and writing an articulate and often funny blog called What Do I Know? (She knows  alot.) Go read her take on Al Gore's appearance at the Hay Festival, in a town near the border between England and Wales. Humor, passion and a global warming sermon served up fresh to an audience of reticent Brits. Al's on the move....

over here in the high desert it has not rained in months. When you look it up to see what the latest rainfall and amount...it is not published anywhere. I wanted the dfnm website to put up a gauge measuring the rain count....but you cannot find the data.

You want some of my rain Mary Ellen? We got rain. Buckets of it.

Although they tell us we're officially in a drought. Something to do with months of below average rainfall affecting the water table.

I went hiking along the Thames today, and it looked plenty full.

Maybe I could send it UPS.
