7/22: Otero County Dems to Visit With Cool Dem Candidates, Sell Raffle Tix, Register Voters

From the Democratic Party of Otero County:

Beat the Heat!!
Visit With Cool Democratic Candidates
Free Cold Lemonade
Thursday, July 22nd, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Sgt. Willie Estrada Civic Center
1st Street, Alamogodo NM
Tickets Available for
"Four Freedoms" Quilt Raffle and Hunting Rifle

Please join the Democratic Party of Otero County for this event in Alamogordo and feel free to bring your friends and neighbors. People will be able to move about and visit with the candidates rather like a cocktail party -- but with ice cold lemonade. Candidates will have tables with their literature and will also speak from the podium to tell of their accomplishments and future plans. This is not a fundraiser but a vote "getter." Voter registration will be available provided by certified voter registrants.

We will feature our two raffle items and sell tickets for them. We are especially proud of a "Four Freedoms" quilt crafted by Kay Stone, Secretary of the Democratic Party of Otero County. The images are from the paintings of Norman Rockwell. We also have a hunting rifle to raffle and winners will be drawn at our December 7th meeting. Those with raffle tickets do not have to be present to win.

For more information, contact Nola Jones: ricno@juno.com.
