2010 New Mexico Primary: Where to Vote

Images We're finally here -- today's the day to vote in the 2010 New Mexico primary election. The polls are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You can find your polling place and see a sample ballot by clicking on your county here: https://www.sos.state.nm.us/sos-SampleBallotP10.html. Once you're at your county page, you can click on a link to find your polling place.

In order to vote in the Democratic primary, you must be a registered Democrat. If you have requested and received an absentee ballot but still haven't marked your choices and returned it, you can still do so by hand-delivering it to your county clerk or your polling place by 7:00 PM tonight. If you have questions, here's a list of county clerks and their contact information.

You can watch the returns come in at a Democratic primary watch party at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Albuquerque, which starts at 6:00 PM. Join Diane Denish for Governor, the Democratic Party of New Mexico, Rep. Martin Heinrich, Secretary of State Mary Herrera, State Auditor Hector Balderas, Attorney General Gary King and State Treasurer James B. Lewis and lots of other Democrats and be a part of the victory celebration. Free and open to all. Click for more information.

A number of Dem candidates are also hosting celebrations. Check with the campaign offices of your favorite candidates.
