The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) - Local 423 Stagehands - represents technicians, artisans and craftspersons in the entertainment industry, including live theatre, and trade shows, today endorsed the bid of Democrat Brian Colón to become our next Lieutenant Governor. IATSE Local 423 represent members statewide. Brian Colón today also received the endorsement of IATSE Local 480 Film Technicians Business Agent, Jon Henry. This is Colón's seventh labor endorsement.

"We endorse Brian Colón's bid to become Lt. Governor of New Mexico as a result of his dedication to the principles of trade unionism, cultural affairs and tourism which affect our trade directly and his hard work and dedication for all citizens of New Mexico," said Brian P. Shaffer, Business Agent IATSE Local 423, in a statement released today.

"To be endorsed by women and men that understand the importance of the training of trades and it's effect on the economy is an honor." said Colón.

Funny that "Joe" Campos and now become "Jose" Campos isn't it? I wonder why that is.

@ Ray: Joe's legal name, and name on the ballot, is Jose. Joe is just what he was called to differentiate him from his dad and his son, also Jose's. Joe, Joseph, Jose: some people don't know it's the same name, but it's all about living in a bilingual state. This isn't Arizona, you know.

I know but he was using Joe before in all his campaign stuff and now it's Jose. Hmmmm
