Dems Win Presidential & Congressional Elections in New Mexico - at Bernalillo High School

From Ray Armijo: Last week, 470 Bernalillo High School students and faculty participated in a school-wide "mock" election. The "mock" election was put on by the Social Studies Department and headed by World History teacher Aaron Armijo. The students ran the whole election themselves. Students worked as Poll Officials, Exit Pollers and other played a role in other election duties. Many of the days classes dedicated time to learn about the candidates and the issues.

The ballot had contests for United States President, United States Senate and United States Representative in Congressional District 1 (where Bernalillo High School is). The following were the results:

Must be a lot of very bright students at Bernalillo High, they seem to have a pretty good take on who to vote for.
